War of Emperium (WoE) is a game event that allows guilds to battle for castle control.

Castle

There is one castle available for capture, Prontera - Swanhild.

Players can reach the castle on foot from Prontera or teleport for free using a Teleportation Stone. However, teleportation through the stone is only available to guild members who have learned the guild skill Official Guild Approval.

Requirements and Time

  • All players who are members of the guild can enter and fight for the castle.
  • Only guild members who have learned the guild skill Official Guild Approval can damage the Emperium and capture the castle.
  • Only guilds with a guild emblem can take part in WoE.
  • Castle entrance during WoE is restricted with two or more client windows. If a player enters a guild castle using multiple clients, upon the start of a WoE, one character from a random client will be sent to the Save Point. Upon guild recall to the castle, a character from a random client will also be sent to the Save Point after the call, if applicable.
  • Castle capture is available on specific days of the week and hours.
Server time is GMT+03:00
WoE 1.0 Sunday 21:00-22:00
WoE 2.0 Wednesday 21:00-22:00

Battle Mechanics

Special features:

  • Flee is reduced by 20%.
  • Melee and ranged attack damage is reduced by 20%.
  • Damage from all skills is reduced by 40%.
  • Bonuses from Memory Bonfire are not available.
  • Bonuses from the backpack (except for increased carrying weight) are not available.
  • Hunter traps affect both enemy and allied characters.

Castle Control

Each castle has an NPC butler that allows the guild master to manage the castle.

Invest in the castle's economy Investing in the castle economy allows you to create additional chests in the castle treasury, increase the chance of rare items falling out of the chests, and increase the number of items falling out of the chests.

Maximum level of investment in the castle economy: 100.

Investment in defense Investing in the castle's defense allows you to increase the HP of the Imperium by 5 HP for each level of defense, as well as increase the HP, attack and defense of the castle's defenders. The Imperium's base HP value is 500 HP. Maximum level of Castle Defense Investment: 100.
Hire defenders Allows you to hire a castle defender to make it easier to hold the castle during WoE. To hire a defender, the guild must have learned the appropriate skill.
Hire Kafra Allows you to hire and fire Kafra inside the castle. The Kafra allows you to access the warehouse. To hire a Kafra, the guild must have learned the corresponding skill.
Treasury Allows you to enter the castle treasury, where you can open a daily treasure chest containing the guild's treasures.

Investments

A guild master can invest in the economy and defense of a castle once a day.

It is possible to invest in the castle a second time on the same day, but at a price 4 times higher than the standard price.

If you learn the guild skill Permanent Development every day after midnight, you have a 50% chance to automatically increase the level of economy and castle defense by 1 unit, but only if the guild master has made at least one contribution (investment) to the defense and/or economy the day before.

If the Imperium was destroyed during the WoE period, then the economy and defense level of the castle is reduced by 5 units.

Every 10th level of the castle economy adds 1% to the chance of all items in the chest falling out. Maximum fixed drop with the maximum improvement of the castle economy when opening 4 chests:
  • 80-120 x Credits / twenty-four hours
  • 120-140 x Newstyle Coin / twenty-four hours
  • +10% to the chance of falling out of each chest

Rewards for Participation and Castle Capture

5 minutes after the end of WoE, rewards are sent to all players who participated in WoE via in-game mail.

  • Participation rewards are given to any player who actively spends time inside the castle during WoE.
  • Rewards are not given to characters that are second windows.
  • No need to be in the guild to get participation reward.

Treasure Chest

In the castle treasury, one or more treasure chests (depending on the economy level of the castle, max: 4 chests) can be opened by the guild master every day after midnight. A treasure chest contains a number of random items. Below are lists of possible items contained in treasure chests. These are the chances of items falling out and their number without taking into account the improved economy of the castle. The item drop chance is not affected by any bonuses other than the castle economy.
